C.    Liaison with Barnsley Council and Other Agencies

  • The Parish Council is in constant communication with Barnsley Council about issues raised by itself and by the people of the Parish.
  • Highway/Footpath repairs, an extension to the footpath at the bottom of Lidgett Lane/New Rd in order to create a safe walking route to school.  Improvements to the surface of the footpath that runs from Carr Lane towards Wentworth Industrial Park.  New Road (close to the motorway bridge) has recently been resurfaced after many years of complaints regarding the road surface.
  • Continued provision of Litter/ Dog Waste Bins
