Lantern Making in Tankersley PDF Print E-mail

Lantern making workshop to be held in Tankersley Welfare hall on 6pm and 9pm on Thursday 11th December.

The event is open for anyone of any age to make the Icicle shaped lights, they will then be invited to the Cannon Hall Fieldl of Light on the 21st December to display them, in a parade.

The Cannon Hall Field of Light is a dramatic outdoor performance of Fire, Fireworks and Music in the Stunning Cannon Hall grounds.  There will be a craft fair, selling hand crafted goods. Ideal for last minute Christmas Presents.  Santa will also be in attendance in his Grotto.

The bonfire this year has raised a total of £563 for the community centre

Thanks to all who turned up to collect wood, and build the bonfire, to the ladies in the Community centre providing refreshments on the night and to the firework organisers.  Without you all volunteering your time and energy, great events like this would not happen.
